About Warm and Well Fed
Suppose a brother or sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, "Go in peace; keep warm and well fed," but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?

The question I want to ask is this: Is anything we're doing, doing anything? Has the church, God's delivery system for hope, become for the most part ineffectual? Are our communities changing... are neighbors caring for each other in a tangible way... is Jesus the center of peoples' lives? This blog draws inspiration from the passage quoted above as after a decade of vocational ministry I found myself asking, "what good is it?"
It is time for all of us to ask some hard questions about what happens when God's Kingdom intrudes on our status quo. Hopefully something written here might add to the conversation.
